CM x TE – INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGN SITE

To launch their new pocket synthesizers, Teenage Engineering teamed up with H&M-owned Cheap Monday. Speaking to a brand new audience, one not too familiar with synthesizers, we figured the best way to explain this piece of hardware was to let them try it out themselves. By collecting assets from the device and putting them into a Javascript interface design, we made the actual product image interactive and playable. This way, users could try the synthesizer directly online. We also collected Instagram videos of people playing the synthesizer and beat-matched them with each other, like a turntable setup. Letting users create their own mix from the videos.
