CM x TE – INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGN SITE


To launch Teenage Engineering’s pocket synthesizers with Cheap Monday, we needed to make a niche instrument accessible to a completely new audience.
So instead of telling people how it works, we put it in their hands.

HOW IT WORKED:
Using assets from the device itself, we recreated the synthesizer as a Javascript interface, turning the product image into a playable online instrument. Visitors could immediately experiment with its sounds and functions. We complemented the experience with Instagram videos of people performing with the synth, beat-matched into a turntable-style mixer that allowed users to create their own mixes from real performances.
